Shake Shack Danbury

We had SUCH an amazing experience tonight. Ryan was so sweet, let us try the sauce for the burger to see if we’d like it and helped us order. Also Peter was so sweet and helpful. They both made the experience wonderful! Definitely would come again for the service.

The food was amazing. It was our first time at any shake shack and this location did not disappoint. The only complaint I have is that the bathroom floors are way too slippery and is definitely a lawsuit waiting to happen. But everything else was wonderful.

Expected stuff like from a normal shake shack, but this location has a huge parking lot and it’s new so it’s got nice interior design and it’s clean, staff was really nice and hospitable during sept 2nd at 4:55pm, the only complaint I have is I come here like once a month and the kiosk tablet are literally always down. But besides that great stuff, good burgers for price 6

Everything about the experience was amazing! The friendliness and enthusiasm that the staff had was amazing and they were super helpful! So helpful I asked for names- Tianna greeted us at the door. Gio helped us throughout and Dave checked in several times and had a very nice little chat.

Gio, the manager at the Backus Ave Shake Shack in Danbury, was amazing. I had an issue with my order, and he handled it quickly and professionally. He was super helpful, made sure everything was resolved, and still honored the promotion I was using. Great customer service like that is rare. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this location to friends. Thanks again, Gio!

This was our first time Shake Shack and it didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious and the staff was so friendly. The restaurant was very clean, too!

My first impression upon entering Shake Shack was that the place was very clean and spacious. The ordering kiosk is on the right immediately after entering and it is super user-friendly. There is also a menu board above the kiosk. The kiosk allows you to easily customize toppings for your order including having your burger cooked well done. The burger menu is extensive and unique compared to traditional fast-food outlets. In addition, the burgers are cooked from fresh meat not frozen, which I think makes a huge taste difference. After placing an order, you can request takeout or dine. If you request dine in, take a table marker number and your meal is brought to your table. My burger was cooked to perfection and was served freshly cooked on a soft hamburger bun. The food was promptly delivered to our table after we completed ordering. I ordered the Smoke Shack burger with spicy cherry peppers, Applewood smoked bacon and Shake Shack sauce, which was unique and delicious. The crispy crinkle cut fries were also excellent although they were warm and not hot fresh out of the fryer. Shake shack is a cut above your traditional old line hamburger fast food outlets. One visit and you’ll probably be a customer for life, although it might take some effort to locate an outlet. Although Shake Shack has been around since 2004, to my knowledge, there are only 8 outlets in Connecticut and around 515 locations worldwide, with almost 200 of them located outside of the United States.
